renault resale value can suck dick lol. thats why its not very popular among sg ppl.
no european or continential cars?
continential/european cars = almost all non japanese cars.
merc is european, so is BMW and audi and most of the other brands...

Kia picanto is getting quite common too, since its cheap.
BMW 3 series is common mostly due to those exhibitions in Singapore, remember the time BMW sponsered the IOC conference, and taxi drivers were hired to drive BMWs to chauffeur the dignitries? Those BMWs are then resold at a cheaper price, thus you see so much 3 series around.

u sure renault's resale value that bad? cause didn't seem to be the case for my previous ride, which was sold at 31k just before the 5 yr mark... the body value was about 3k which was quite good le.
i think so few renaults could be because the distro attitude not that good, despite it being a continental brand. But i have to admit, the cars themselves are pretty good. My Clio2 gave me a very fun time for the short 3 months when i took over it.

common models in sg... i can said all the yrs 2000 japan cars are common... because of the petrol price, most singaporeans have no other choice than to choose the most economic models.
but when comes to coupe or sports car, i realise singaporeans love to look into speed and horsepower more than anything else (which i find it unrealistic in sg road). let say someone with budget of $130k+, i am sure he will choose fast car like evo IX(got speed, so so look, cheapo interior) instead of the Saab 9-3 troll (speed wise lose to evo, uncommon in sg, well-crafted interior).

tt depends, if it's an yound adult, 20+ years old, most likely he/she will choose Evo IX.
But if it's an uncle most prolly he will choose like wad u mention, Saab 9-3 Troll(although i nt really famillair with this car)

coming back from M'sia yesterday from Tuas, and I saw....
14 Odyssey RB1 along the TOLL to the check point...
2 Odyssey RB1 AT the checkpoint...
6 Odyssey RB1 at the Singapore checkpoint..
now.. thats excluding mine...
and no.. there was no Odyssey outing.... unless its from an unknown Odyssey club...
so that is too common now... at least to me...
