The First Step to Financial Freedom.
Many people say they want to to rich. But, wanting it and taking the steps to achieve it are 2 different things. If you count buying 4D or Toto as taking steps in achieving financial freedom, think again. The odds of striking first prize in Toto are a million to one. But, so many people are having lives of quiet desparation that they punt hard-earned money at TurfClub and Singapore Pools. Do you know what kind of revenues Singapore Pools, TurfClub and Floating casinos (like Star Cruises) make? If you think they make millions annually, you are quite wrong. They actually make billions! There are better ways to increase the value of your money.
Achieving financial freedom is entirely possible for anyone. And it shouldn't even involve luck. When it comes to your financial destiny, do not leave it to luck. Take matters into your own hands. When you take matters into your own hand, luck will come. A fengshui master once told me this; "Even if you are born with all the best luck in the world, if you don't take action, no one can help you become rich." Wise words indeed. If you don't take action, it's impossible to become financially-independent.
Are you ready to lead a life of financial freedom? Are you ready to take that step? If you are ready to take that step, you'll be surprised to know that the first step is actually a small step - a baby step. It may sound so insignificant to you, but it has profound implications in your life.
The first step to financial independence is this;
Step 1 : Make a firm commitment that you want to be financially-free.
That's right, you need to make a serious commitment. You need to make a commitment to yourself that you are eligible for a life of abundance. Sure, it's going to be a long journey to financial freedom, but you can start today. Confusicus once said that "A journey of ten thousand miles begin with a single step."
You may have self-doubts that you will ever achieve it. This is very normal. It's the "chicken-little" in your mind that is saying this to you. That's okay. Our minds, unfortunately, were conditioned this way from young by the Matrix (See the other thread on "Why it is important to plan for retirement).
We can re-program our mind. So, you must write that down in a piece of paper and paste it somehere where you can see it as a constant reminder that you made that commitment. Just read it aloud every day. In no time, you will start to believe in it. It's called the method of auto-suggestion. And it's been proven to work before. You can read Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" to see proof of this.
May you prosper!

I will stop here. If people are interested, I will write more....when I have the time. Have fun!
