Whats the actual meaning of par value?
As far as i know book value is the amount of ( tangible assets - labilities )/ amt of floating shares .

Your definition is not correct.

Book Value = ((tangible + intangible assets) - liabilities)/ number of outstanding shares.

NTA = ( tangible assets - labilities )/number of outstanding shares

Par value is just the nominal share price. In the past, nominal share value was set at $1. MAS want to change this in future. you can find the definition on SGX website.
