i heard that u have to put chilli on its tongue to accelerate the parrots speech process ... is that true?

I have a cockatiel now, but used to have parrots up until a few years ago.
I had a Patagonian Conure and a Nanday Conure. The Patagonian was a real sweetie and spoke about 30 words or so.

yes my lovies can talk,the chili thing i think its a myth.....

training to talk,is just talk to them everydae...say the words slowly.....and 1 day he will surprise u wil the talkings....But to get a gd talking bird,must get thos birds can talk well.....

The Patagonian Conure I had loved to eat dried chili peppers. Birds don't have saliva on their tongues, so that's how they can eat things like that easily.
