    Desktop Speaker Stands

Any such thing available in Singapore and if so, where? Will likely be putting a pair of Aktimate Minis or studio monitors on them.

you import in hose desktop stand + tweak it a little.. might as well go carpenter and get the to build one for you.

Works out to the same price plus you get exactly what you want.

Auralex monitor isolators can function as mini stands.

The Monitor Isolators looks interesting but it is angled down for some reason. If it is angled up, it will suit many desktop users need.

dxter, now then I notice u are from VR. lol Did u purchase the stands for your dynaudio contour?

Agree that something higher would be better (around 15cm or so); my intention is to lift the speakers off the desk. Looks like DIY is the way to go...

Then you will need a stand but why so high?
Sometimes, isolation footers might be enough to do the trick in tightening the bass and focusing the image. I had tried the finite elemente ceraball under the A5, immediate improvement in imaging but don't go into those, as they cost as much as the A5.

To reduce reflections coming off the desk, and to bring the tweeters to ear level. Not correct?

Why not look at getting yourself a proper 2-tiered mixing desk?

    Stuff like these:

    Quik-lok Z-600 System:

    AKA Design ProEdit

    Omnirax Presto 4

AKA Design ProMedia (smaller version of ProEdit)

    IKE Jerker (EOL-ed)

(It's sad that this series of desk is no longer available. Ikea Jerker desk: One of the best cheap desks around.)

Semi-ghetto with a desk system I'm not familiar with:

Another nice one, Studiorta Producer Station
