Need Help on Headphones devilcm3 May 17th, 09, 01:15 PM #1 (permalink)
Hi , I am new here ... this is my first post a

i wonder what headphones is good ah? that have the noice cancellation effect...
and...prefer the sound to be crisp and loud....rather than bassy...thanks =u=
budget from 100-200...

and also..cable issues...i have been my two previous headphones (AT and Senn) have quite thin cables and spoil because the cable breaks inside..so sad...and my third headphone , the cable seems not durable also ....
and i prefer headphone with only one cable connection for both sides...

thanks in advance.. =u=

noise cancellation i think sennheiser got

however, if you are using at home, should not get noise cancellation because normally they do not offer good sound quality compared to normal headphones

regarding the cable breaking, i have not encounter any before so can't help

since most of the money you spent goes to the noise cancelling tech, think about what happens to the actual sound of the phones..?

sorry never see headphones.

you want open or closed headphone?

open will leak sound in and out and is more suitable in quiet situation

Loud? Sennheiser is loud. Bassy? that depends on your player and settings.

can headphones with good pad block the out side noise? I don't like the feel of isolating headphones and they requires battery too. Will the Audio-Technica ATH-A950LTD do a good job on blocking the outside noise. Sound quality will be without a double.

Check out the Denon AH-D1001.A very detailed sounding pair of headphones, offers decent isolation provided the ambient sound not too loud and more importantly for you, thick cables.Costs ~$179,and can find it at Jaben.

The Audio Technia ATH-A950LTD is good but expensive. Its low price solution like ATH-SQ5 have good style and sound ok.
