my budget is really really tight.

I need suggestions for a
5.1 speaker
external soundcard as i'm using a laptop
sound proofing my room.(i just wanna sound proof the door)

my total budget, $500. help please!!

i read reviews for 5.1 speakers and anyone think if the logitech x-540 is really the best bang for my dollar?

just buying a solid wood door filled with rockwool with all-around seal will cost you about $400-600 i guess? far from soundproof too, but it helps. did it on 2 of my doors but forgot the eventual cost.

believe true soundproof doors start on the range of about $2-3k. all depends on how much db u want it to be rated for..
