Anybody know who is doing op-amp for creative X-Fi sound cards ? Price involved ?

How would I know if my creative card can or can't ?

All can, all cannot, depends on how u see it.

Creative cards, like most other cards nowadays, use surface-mounted op-amp for manufacturing efficiency. "Audiophile" cards use DIP8 so you can change without needing soldering iron. With a soldering iron you can change all cards' op-amp, assuming they're compatible with the type of op-amp you're changing to.

But no point anyway except for sound signature change and bluffing yourself, if you're using computer speakers, the signal will enter the op-amp inside the computer speaker, and that op-amp will still limit audio performance.

What is computer speakers ?

I using Edifier C3 and 2 floorstanders + 1 amp

One other question ... how to know the limit of your speakers ?
