The audit session was extended beyond originally planned and just ended. We'll like to extend our thanks to all the eleven gentlemen, some rushing down after school or work, who took the time to support the audition and give their comments.

Pretty brilliant session, really. The KroCraft speakers are mightily decent for the price range but the amp is a little bass shy. Driving the KroCraft with other amplifiers (we got to test with an Aego 2 sub) would likely allow the speakers to display their full potential.
That said, the amp is practically dirt cheap when bundled with the speakers and would do well for most music genres aside from techno, trance or heavy metal.

The outputs from the Aego 2 to the satellites will be high-pass-filtered so you'll be hearing the bass from the sub and not the satellites. Might be good in a way.

just curious, why would anyone will attempt to use a phono preamp to drive the speakers. :donno:

technically headamp refers to the phono preamp stage.
testing?

more like headphone amplifier logically, it has a headphone output

by another term .... phono-head amplifier does exist

no wrong no right

Probably you can give a initial review/comparison.

Looking forward to it.
