Unsure which speaker system to buy.

Budget around $150+/-

Good Bass ><" ( Bass lover here )

Prefer 2.1 setup as my space is rather constraint.
But if 5.1 setup sound with the same price but sound better I won't mind moving.

i suggest u head down to sim lim square for you HDD and speaker.
fuwell have a T3 for demo and alphawave has alot of other speaker like edifier, creative, logitech speaker for demo...

Get a 2nd hand Audigy 2 ZS + Altec Lansing ATP3. This should set you max $80.

Next save up for a value for money set up like Styleaudio HD1V DAC + Audio Engine A2 etc...
