decided on either 1 of these, juz some query left before i head down tmr to uncle jimmy's shop in adelphi.

i know many pple said tat Aktimate mini sound quality > AE5

tat said,
AE5 = 540
mini = 880

340 more...

additional functions of mini compared to AE5 includes

ipod docks
remote control

Question:
im going to pair the AE5 with a W1, which adds up to 680 total.

so my qns is does the Aktimate mini comes with Inbuilt wireless connections like the W1?
and if not wha tis the speaker that u prefer...

ur opinions are greatly appreciated.

its like airport express for ipod/phone wireless docking..

but the w1 diff cuz can connect to any of the device.... details audioEngine..

quite ex wor... at first i c the w1 like few cable and receivers only... but end up cost $200 @ audio trio and $140 @ cd acoustic...

Aktimate is very good, I listened to it when I bought my A5, but priced so much more. So I decided to buy A5 then next time I want to add subwoofer S1 to it.

What is a good sub woofer for the Akitamate Mini ?? Is it worth getting it + sub, or a A5 + S8 ???
