One windy spring day, I observed young people having fun using the wind to fly their kites. Multicolored creations of varying shapes and sizes filled the skies like beautiful birds darting and dancing. As the strong winds gusted against the kites, a Adidas Shoes string kept them in check。
Instead of blowing away with the wind, they arose against it to achieve great heights. They shook and pulled, but the restraining string and the cumbersome tail kept them in tow, facing upward and against the wind. As the kites struggled and trembled against the string, they seemed to say, “Let me go! Let me go! I want to be free!” They soared beautifully even as they fought the restriction of the string. Finally, one of the kites succeeded in Air Jordan 6 breaking loose. “Free at last,” it seemed to say. “Free to fly with the wind.”
Yet freedom from restraint simply put it at the mercy of an unsympathetic breeze. It fluttered ungracefully...
If I had my life to live over...I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was strained and the sofa
faded.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
I would never have insisted the car Nike Shox R4 Shoes windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair
had just been teased and sprayed.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching television - and more while watching
life.
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a
holding patter if I were not there for the day.
I would never...
I was always a little in awe of Great-aunt Stephina Roos. Indeed, as children we were all
frankly terrified of her. The fact that she did not live with the family, preferring her
tiny cottage and solitude to the comfortable buy cheap jordan shoes but rather noisy household where we were
brought up-added to the respectful fear in which she was held.
We used to take it in turn to carry small delicacies which my mother had made down from the
big house to the little cottage where Aunt Stephia and an old colored maid spent their days.
Old Tnate Sanna would open the door to the rather frightened little messenger and would
usher him-or her - into the dark voor-kamer, where the shutters were always closed to keep
out the heat and the flies. There we would wait, in Hot sale jordans shoes trembling but not altogether unpleasant.
She was a tiny little woman to inspire so much veneration....
Tucked away in our subconsciousness is an idyllic vision. We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are travelling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving on a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring Kids Jordan Shoes from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls.
But the uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour, we will pull into the station. Bands will be playing and flags waving. Once we reach there, so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will be fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes loitering, waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.
"When we reach the station, that will be it", we cry. "When I'm 18",...
It was New Year’s Night. An aged man was standing at a window. He raised his mournful eyes towards the deep blue sky, where the stars were floating like white lilies on the surface of a clear calm lake. Then he cast them on the earth, where few more hopeless people than himself now moved towards their certain goal --- the tomb. He had already passed sixty of the stages Air Jordan 6 leading to it, and he had brought from his journey nothing but errors and remorse. Now his health was poor, his mind vacant, his heart sorrowful, and his old age short of comforts.
The days of his youth appeared like dreams before him, and he recalled the serious moment when his father placed him at the entrance of the two roads --- one leading to a peaceful, sunny place, covered with flowers, fruits and resounding with soft, sweet songs; the other leading to a deep, dark cave, which was endless, where poison flowed instead...
