    Ah Lian Act 1 revamp log

    Need some opinions on this loop design;
    CPU -> NB -> GPU -> RAD1 -> RAD2 -> T-line -> PUMP -> CPU

    Doubts;
    1. Will mounting the pump high degrades performance by trapping air bubbles and etc.
    2. Is the T-line effective at this height and does it matters if there's basically very little buffer for coolant?
    3. Will evaporation means I will need to top up the coolant regularly?

    Chips to tame
    - Opty 170 o/c to 2.5GHz
    - 8800GTS 320MB stock
    - NF4-Ultra chipset stock

    Watercooling parts
    - Swiftech Apogee GT
    - Swiftech MCW30
    - Swiftech MCW60
    - Swiftech MCP350 + EK X-Top
    - Swiftech MCR120
    - BlackIce GTX120
    - DD Fillport
    - 3/8" Tygon

    Feel free to suggest other placements, but I prefer to minimize clutter and hide components.

    answer for your doubt..

    1. mounting your pump high is alright since u are using t line.. usually people mount pump low because they are using reservior and res need to be able to supply the pump with water.. thus res at mid of chasis and pump at below..

    2. i dont think the t line placement is a problem too.. just make sure you fully bleed the loop before you close the fillport..(because if there are air in ur loop your cooling will not be effective.. and also it might kill ur pump.. i killed 1 of my dtek this way.. )

    3. yes but since you have two radiator.. i dont think you will need to refill ur loop often unless ur loop is leaking if not it dont usually drop that fast if u fully bleed the loop le then top it up to the max you could..

    just my 2cents..hope it helps.. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong for any of the above..

    Looks like a pretty sharp bend for your GPU in! Pretty awesome if you manage that without kinks.

    The tubes are measured and cut with the components installed. That particular run did kink a bit but I managed to keep it in shape via the Coolsleeves.
