    CFI-Group

    Some more pics...

Note the glossy "piano finish" finger-print magnet front.

Rear of the case, note the single expansion slot:

    Don't make me guilty la....

There are people in this thread that already expressed some form of interest in the case liao.

That said, if the cost of this case is like S$40 to S$60 (casing only, w/o PSU), it would put it in a VERY VERY strong position to fight against Mr. Chenbro already.

Since we're on the subject of the case, here is a "walk-around", "Blair Witch" video introduction to the CFI-A9849.

    Pointers to note:

The reseller for this one (X-case) has rebranded this case as his own (seems like a common practice in the UK to make things more expensive than it's supposed to be) and he did not go into the details of what can be fitted in there or any caveats for fitting tolerances regarding aftermarket coolers, cables and such (again, very typical for UK dealers where they always assume the average consumer does not like numbers).

Nice case... Alot of modding potential. Just needs some brushed metal to make it look real classy.

The front bezel looks too plastiky for me, but a brushed metal facelift should solve the problem.

That I agree. NOt only is it plasticky, it is very very prone to smudges as well.

If you watched the youtube, it will show that the case already has a brushed metal finish for the body and side panels.

But yup, I chose this case specifically for its potential for modifications.

Are you sure? The case is made of SECC and it will be HEAVY...

Different league. Note that the MC3 Evo is a larger case but does not have any hot-swap capability. The length of expansion cards used in that case would also be very limited (perhaps even more so than a typical SG05/06 and maybe even with the CFI). I personally find it extremely difficult to justify the costs for even considering the use of that casing (which SHOULD BE considered in the same breath as an Abee T20).

On a side note, you might want to watch out for the issue of dust with that mesh front.
