While i was browsing the Project Log threads, i saw lord_dizzy mod and was inspired by it.

I have a Lian-Li PC-60FW casing and it was placed on my left. So i wanna do sth to my right panel so that i can admire it everyday in front of the comp...

So I wanted to add this (no offense to pool fans :p)

you can pm Froze see if he can help.

you can also pm energizer (gary from uVnium) see if he takes this kind of mod (he should be taking lah)

highly unlikely you can do by hand /dremel.

gonna use laser, plasma or water jet cut.

you gonna pay a lot for it.

Gary dont mod lian-li and silverstone casing not bought from his shop anymore. The rest of the brands he still do mod though.

Actually you CAN do it by hand or with a dremel... Provided that you have lots of patience and are very meticulous.

Sketch the design on paper and stick it on the side panel to work with. Read through some home-made projects on extreme systems to see for yourself.

slowly cut with 32teeth per inch padsaw, works faster than Dremel I think.. but that kind of design... must do very slowly..

haha, finally get to see what's gonna be on your panel..
Mine was done by a dremel but its all straight lines so its not as complicated as your design.

but yours a aluminium panel wor.. abit heartpain to cut leh..
n u will see yours cables behind too like mine.

1 slight miscalculation or move, and ur panel is GG.

Will be costly.....

I wonder if any shops provide this service? Maybe using laser cutting or some precision cutting for such details?

why don't you do a customized sticker paste it on since you are gonna use a color paper to cover inside.

sooo much cheaper than cutting it.
