Hey Bros,

I'll Need A Little Help Recently I've Just Got A MSI DKA790 GD70 And I'm Using A X2 550 So I've Decided To Get A True To Hook It Up , After I Got It I Cant Seems To Mount It With The Given Backplate ( Screw Too Short ) When I Use The True's Screw So Now I Cant Even Mount My True Do I Need To Get A Backplate? Or Wat IF So Where Can I Get It.. Thanks Alot ! , 2ndly I'll Like To know isit Possible To Mount The True Vertically Instead Of Horizontally As I Saw Entropy Mounted It Vertically .

Please Help A Brother Out Here T_T

The TRUE (for the old TRUEs) has 2 set of spring loaded screws, one is the the LGA775 mount the other is for the AMD mount, are u using the right ones?

Yes, be sure ur using the right ones.

Also, most AMD boards have a included backplate at the back

And for the TRUE, AMD boards usually its mounted with the fan upwards.

Entropy have the TR S clip or something, but it only works with the TRU, not the TRUE.

IF your back plate is a plastic one. most prob you are facing the same problem as me before. u will need to get a metal backplate to mount the 120.

Guys... you wont need the Thermalright S-Clip anymore now.

Thermalright have released a universal bolt-on kit for AMD mobos to allow more secure mounting in any direction last year.

AMD Socket AM2 / AM3 Bolt-Thru-Kit Rev.2
