Spray paint internal of casing

Hi there.

I'm new to modding, and this is my first time doing so. I was wondering do you send your casing (either inside or outside) to shops for spray paint or diy?

If diy, what kind of paint should I look out for?
If send to shop, kindly state which shop you guys went.

if you're willing to diy, best paint - rustoleums. expensive but quite good. it's the one used by sulphur bro who offers spray painting services.
or you can look into this thread about powdercoating.

Some popular color runs out fast.

Is there any things to do before spraying the exterior ?

Mine is HAF 922.

Hi bro,

I just got my CM HAF 922 from David's place at 12.45pm just now. I got my casing powdercoated black. The workmanship is top notch, i quite fussy but i couldn't find any flaws.. The black colour so even and nice, i see le damn shiok. He charged me only $50 bucks cause i think HAF 922 mid tower is smaller than 932. Try your best to remove whatever you can, those non metal parts, fans and etc. Contact as below. I got David's contact on another post in this section. How long does it take to powder coat : 2-3days

how much does the rust oleum cost ? per can ? from what i just saw a can cost $25.50 each. am i right ?

Yep. For small things, ok can spray etc.

But for full panels, send for Powdercoating more worth.

Unless u one glossy etc

even if you want glossy, powder coat can be glossy, not powdery as its name suggests.

oh also where to get rust oleum primer and I heard of this brand of car paint Plastikote suppose another top brand but can't seem to find any do anyone know where its hiding in singapore?

i wouldn't label his job as top notch, rather it was only a passable one. He even broke my lian li's locking latch at the back, assuming that he dropped my casing, ripple effect finishing can also be seen.

But still, for those that are lazy to spray paint, powdercoating is the best way out. It is advise to strip off every non metal parts before sending in, he might break some plastic in attempt to urgently remove them.
