Anyway I guess the top one is from mm. Feels nicer than bottom, when looked at closer.

i want a sample too froze bro!

... about 300ft sample. just kidding!

anyways, the mdpc/mm sleeves looks like it has a tighter weaving even though both seem to have 3 strands per segment. so either would surely cover up the wire underneath. but i saw one project log that used white mdpc/mm sleeves, but the wire colors were still visible thru. i'll post a pic once i find it.

murdermod sleeves are more 'denser' thus they do an excellent job of hiding cables.

Yeah i heard about it but coz i saw this.. and it looks good too.
so i decided to buy 2m of it to try out, from the looks it really look the same. but when you place both side by side, murdermod maintain it's circular structure. slt one is flatten out maybe due to the packaging of the rim.

The heatshrinks and sleeves from SLT are good only if you know where to find them.

Many of you guys complain about flat 4mm sleeves, thats because you go to the wrong places to get. I have let quite a few bros here know that ASK on top floor opposite Kaichin has all sizes ROUND sleeves that look like Murdermod sleeves.

FYI... murdermod sleeves are 4.4mm compared to our local 4mm sleeves.

As for heatshrinks.. any of the WOER branded heatshrinks are good. WOER heatshrinks are MATT too. Other brands are not as thick. Most of the top floor shops have WOER heatshrinks, including Kaichin.

If you're sceptical about the quality of SLT sleeves and heatshrinks, check out what I've done using SLT products only.

If they are still not enough.. go ahead and get murdermod sleeves. However do not blame SLT sleeves if you've been getting the wrong ones.

Haha, I am not putting down MM sleeves. I believe they are every bit the best sleeves around. However for the cost savings and convenience, I am very sure SLS sleeves are pretty good too. The lady at ASK gives a very nice discount 20-30% if you buy more than 10m at a time. YMMV. They have all sizes round sleeves from 4mm to 20mm.

Perfectionists should of course go for MM stuff as they are top notch.

One thing though that MM sleeves have going for them are their custom dyed coloured sleeves. I've not been able to find any local equivalent. Most local coloured sleeves are yucky shades of colours. I'm very tempted to get those MDPC blue SATA sleeves.

working with white sleeves are abit tricky bro. the white electrical tape in the pic will give you a hint. they actually wrap the cables with the tape prior to sleeving to get the maximum 'whiteness'
