Modified my ATI HD2400 cooler jason1980 Sep 20th, 09, 04:11 PM #1 (permalink)
Gotten this card for my shuttle PC. Passive cooler. Unable to close my chassis due to the fins protruding out.

Scouted ard SLS yesterday for a compatible cooler be it passive (but thinner one) or a cooler with a small fan on it. Totally cannot find. In the end plonked $18 on a inno 3D reference cooler.

Holes were off, had to DIY 4 holes to fit the plastic holders.

Passive HS out, chip cleaned and prepped.

"Aftermarket cooler" fixed up

Card is in, but need to draw power from those free molex pins when we buy case fans.

Spinning in action.

NO need to mill my stock Heatsink! and my chassis can now close!
