Hi,

Is there any display on the screen when the beeping occurs?

how does it sounds like?
1) 1 long beep 3 short beeps - VGA
2) continuous long beep - RAM
3) short beeps continuous - Bios

You can also try by taking out the items one at a time to confirm the error...

sounds like you could have set some kind of warning...

go into Bios... under power management setup...

check if you have enable any of the warning...

you can try load fail safe default...

let me know...

thanks

Sounds like your Bios has corrupted...

One last try... if you remove the RAMs... Does the beep sounds the same?

If it is the Bios - you can try the below method...
- Last resort, goto GIGABYTE - Upgrade Your Life
- download the latest Bios for your MB and make sure the revision is correct
- unzip the downloaded files and copy it into your hdd root directory
- also copy the files to a floppy disk and leave it in the floppy disk drive (IF YOU HAVE)
- boot the system...
- monitor if the floppy or hdd is accessing

if all fails... please visit us for RMA...

Thank you.

Yes. The beep is the same as RAM sitting in the mobo. Can i bring the unit over?

I bought the PSU, seventeam over there, it seems that the PSU does not sit firmly to the 3pin plugged to the CPU. What time does u close on sat?

Hi,

I have a similar problem on my GA-965P-DS3. I checked the manual and it said continuous short beeps is power issues.

I tried it with another spare psu i have but it made no difference.

Please advise. Should i bring down my mobo+psu? my seventeam psu warranty just over though..

Hi...

Have you tried taking out the RAMs and try with only one piece at a time...

If you have done everything you can, please bring the mb down for checks

Thank you.
