Morton's The Steakhouse hisfoodblog Oct 19th, 08, 11:49 PM #1 (permalink)
Just ate Aged Australian Filet Mignon @ Morton's The Steakhouse. Probably the best steak in town. Amazingly, they also served the best complimentary bread ever - onion loaf!!!

Click the image to open in full size.

Overall, service was generally good and accommodating, but dinner for two is very expensive and (steak aside) not value-for-money. Excellent mood created by the furnishing and lighting was also ruined with mindless chatters from various tables as well as the consistence singing of birthday songs (10 times over a 2.5 hours period) – absolutely not recommended for a romantic dinner for two.

You can read my writeup here if you are interested.

iirc from my one and only time there years ago, it was a really dim place. Did you have a really powerful flash? haha

Maybe they renovated la...

Edit: I think its my memory of that place that was off... Looking at the photos in your website, it looked more like that than what i thought it was.

Nope. Just the disappointing choc cake. Seems like I was the only one who didn't have a good experience with the cake - the rest of my peers who went on their own enjoyed theirs.
