Hey all, recently just went to a new Japanese restaurant located opposite of Paradiz Centre. It's about 10 minutes walk from Dhoby Ghaut, very near Cathay. The food there was fantastic, and they gave us hotplates or what they called teppan, to cook on. I got namecard from them and decided to help them do free advertising since their food was fantastic and at decent prices.

Oh yeah, I also forgot to add that they also have very great-tasting Japanese sake and wine. I ordered some myself and they had very unique taste. Haven't seen those sake sold elsewhere, and figured I should let you guys know too. (:

And I forgot to add, they also have vegetarian okonomiyaki for vegetarians. I'll be going down there to eat again soon, and hopefully I can provide some photos. (:

what's the budget like?

About $20, I guess. The okonomiyaki is about $14 if I didn't remember wrongly. The sake is $24, but the taste is very unique and definitely worth the price!

I tried the place.

Food is authentic, I guess. Main dish = $12-16 and one $24. Side dish starts from $5 (which I find expensive for the quantity). It's a small boutique in a hot area so the price is actually not bad.

The food is authentic enough; however, it's sweet! The main dish killed my appetite for a day... Be warned if you are not too crazy about sweet entrees
