Capitalizing on BK’s most iconic product, the WHOPPER™ Bar is a complete transformation of the traditional quick service restaurant with a modern, bar-like look and feel which complements the Clarke Quay night scene. Inspired by the WHOPPER™, its flame-grilled equity and BK’s HAVE IT YOUR WAY® brand promise, all in-restaurant branding boasts a more contemporary look with a bold new red, black and gray colour scheme – from the bar setting, to crew uniforms, to new product packaging. The flames come to life on the restaurant’s LCD menu boards, while the bar ambience is further enhanced by personalized sound zones where guests can plug their iPods in and listen to their favourite tunes. Once they are ready to place their orders, customers can select a WHOPPER™ with either single, double or triple beef patties and then choose from about 24 delectable WHOPPER™ toppings “fit for a King”. A visible toppings theater behind the cashier allows guests to choose from favorites like mushrooms, turkey bacon and cheese to new options like sweet salsa, jalapenos and nacho chips. Those who prefer the tried-and-tested route can opt to select from six WHOPPER™ Bar favourites, which include new-to-market burgers like the ANGRY WHOPPER™, WESTERN WHOPPER™ and SWEET MEXICANA WHOPPER™. Specially-trained expert “WHOPPER™-tender” staff behind the counters will also provide guidance and help build the customer’s WHOPPER™, the way they want it. As yet another new, first-to-Asia restaurant concept to launch in Singapore, the WHOPPER™ Bar at Clarke Quay reinforces BK’s growing investment in this market as an innovation hub. “As our regional headquarter base for Asia Pacific and a globally-recognized incubator for innovation, Singapore is the ideal market to serve as BK’s innovation test-bed for new store concepts and products in the region.
