I still remember those Superman trading cards with a piece of red bubble gum which was selling for $0.30cts per packet...

During that years I was residing at the Jalan Awan Prison Quarters (where Changi Prison is) & there was a whole lot of things to explore given that the area is a forested place.Gg to town was once every few months trip...most of the time what we do back then was more than just enough to keep us happy.

Ah the good ol' times when McDonalds wasn't halal yet. The Sausage muffin was delicious! Me and my brother had to go with our elder sisters all the way to Bras Basah just to have McDonalds breakfast!

Anybody remember Homestead the furniture store?

And in school, you'll "sing your way home, at the close of the day" and then on tv you hear the "courtesy is for free, courtesy is for you and me" when sbc was promoting courtesy.

TV starts at 3pm and SBC programs were usually from BBC one. I missed the old Dr Who.

Start would be Sesame Street and then
