Petaling Jaya: China kickstarted their bid to qualify for the 2012 AFC U-19 Championship with an 11-0 win over Singapore on Friday.
After Jan Olde Riekerink’s began their campaign with a goalless draw with Indonesia on Monday, midfielder Wu Xinghan scored four times in the first half at MBPJ Stadium.
Wang Shangyuan struck either side of half-time, while Chen Zhongliu, Liu Bin Bin, Qi Tianyu and Zhuang Jiajie were also on target as China eased to victory.
With Australia beating Macau 12-0 to maintain their 100% record after two games, China moved up to second place in the five team table, level on points with third place Indonesia.
China continue their campaign against Macau on Sunday, while Indonesia face Australia.
