    Not necessary supercomputer.. Such systems already exist in Japan, there are sites that show expressway traffic conditions using graphic.. Here is one example on JARTIC (Japan Road Traffic Information Center), showing the 'live' condition of central Tokyo conditions (changes over time, check in the morning to see more jams).

    Then again, more user-friendly sites, collecting information from different sources and publishing it on one single page; trains, commercial flights and ferry services all in one..

    I would prefer to have something like the latter, all information in one, so people can make a well-informed decision. If there is a serious accident, don't drive and take public transport. If there is a train breakdown, use alternate routes or consider to drive if a car is available..

    nothing much, in sg there is not much alternate public transport when there is traffic jams~
