Bought the voucher online for $38.80 nett so we are off fishing for the Chilean Sea Bass at the Element Restaurant early this month.

The spread here were kind of limited and some dishes were placed on pedestals so shaky that the heavy porcelain plates might topple anytime.



Scallops - These were smaller than the usual size that you seen in other buffets but still quite edible.



Assorted Sushi - Left out to dry in the open so these were not acceptable to me.



Each of the diner was entitled to half a Pan Fried Spiny Lobster which you have to order through the waiter.

Hot Dishes from left - Lamb Chop which was very tough; Bamboo Clam, some which were dried out; Curry Chicken and Ham which I like as it's tender yet both sweetish and savory.





Love the Ee Mee but hate the Sea Cucumber as it was quite hard as if it was not soaked long enough.



Duck Breast which was moist and flavourful from the accompanying sauce.

One of the two items we came here for - Baked Chilean Sea Bass has an oily yet firm flesh. All of us were mostly interested in "kopping" the skin area which was most fatty. Do note, since it's an oily fish, taking too much of it might cause tummy ache.

Assorted Cheeses - Most of us liked the top right cheese which boasted a garlicky flavour much akin to garlic spread for bread.



Pan Fried Spiny Lobster - My lobster had flesh stuck to the shell.

Banana Pie - I remembered Toons saying the banana were hard.





Mousse Cake - Silky smooth and creamy but not overly sweet.

Blueberries Cake



The other item we were here for was the Cempedak Cake. This cake is best eaten frozen like ice cream cake. The bits and pieces of Cempedak fruit gave it a crunchy texture to the otherwise icy cold mousse topped cake.

Macarons and Chocolate Pralines





Overall the foods I only liked the Baked Chilean Sea Bass, Vegetarian Abalone and Cempedak Cake. The rest either cannot make it or so so only. Finally there was no service to speak of, our water was not top up even though we were seated next to their service counter, their wait staffs just stand around there. We have to keep asking them to top up water plus they are slow in clearing the plates even though there weren't many diners. I wondered how they got the Gold Plate award.
