Paragraph from an old computer book

I came across an old copy of PCs for Dummies which was printed in 1997. And this paragraph was printed in the section on computer RAM.

In 1997, 16 MB RAM cost around 100 US dollars.
Today, you can get 16 GB DDR3 RAM for around 100 US dollars. RAM has become really inexpensive over the last 15 years.

Well, the author was correct at the time when the book was published. Nothing wrong...
