to a illiterate mum and a poorly educated dad,
who grew up as a farmer in his house’s backyard,
and despite having to work the farm at home while others were studying,
came in top in his class yearly.
A man who when he collected his University degree,
and became a doctor,
has already achieved more than most men in their entire lifetime,
and to then to go on and become one of the country’s leading Gastroentologists.
A man who built a life and family far beyond what he was borned into,
who created happiness, security and wealth from absolute nothingness,
who challenged fate, questioned tradition and tackled life head on,
who defied all odds and achieved something most can only dream off,
who’s life challenges all those out there who won’t stop complaining about life being unfair,
who’s living proof of being able to be who you want to be so long as you are willing to work for it.
Here’s to my dad, who is without a doubt one of the greatest of men.
Happy father’s day everybody
