    That model was the the 787-800 series,the problem no longer exist

    from some angles, the design of the wings does look curvy, quite different from some of the older planes. during flight they looked even more so

    In the older days, 747 wings are designed to flex as much as 17 ft at the tip. That was in 1970. Now with better materials , can do more.

    I can't wait to fly on a 787........

    the max flew for the 787 is 24ft normal flex in a normal flight is 12ft

    JAL already resumed their 787 operations between Singapore already if i'm not wrong
