What's there to be unhappy about ?

Many are intrested in this F1 thingi. Goverment would'en bring them in if not for the majority who support them. Which means, common man + rich man.

Personally, i find that it's a great decision done by our goverment and although i'm not a fan of F1, i'm looking foward to it.

1st ever night F1 race. Would'en it be beautiful showing the rest of the world how our beautiful city looks like ?

Agreed, such events bring in huge amounts of cash into singapore, esp via the foreign tourists.

Yes, the big companies make money.
Yes, the rich gets richer.

And guess what, the smarter 'common' people get rich too - flipping tickets, selling drink stores, or like me, align our biz during that period to target these blur ang mohs who actually pay tons of $ for last minute stuff. =)

And the only people who dun earn anything are the lazy 'common' people who sit and whine.

we have no choice ah boo... in future SG will be damn boring and also with the competition of other neighbouring country we need some INternational events to boost our economics!

Youth Olympics, F1 , ASEANS, WORLD BANK CONference etc.
all these bring in the Moolahs ... what more is they bring recognition to other nations ... that often mistaken SG as part of British ? perhaps now part of CHINA ?

Even the CAsinos are also part of this plan...
imagine SG without all these... it is just another norm country nothing like MAlaysia, indonesia, philipines just that we are more stable in government and so called more developed.
