Well, for your optical disc solutions, you can head to 6th floor (a shop next to the lobby lifts). It's a shop that specialized in optical disc. In short, they are fully loaded when it comes to optitcal disc IMO . Do visit them your next trip to SLS.

i used to go to this really nice place on level 2, cant remember the name but it had cd/dvd solutions at that time. service was great, those days DVDs were not made all the same and it mattered the type of dye/brand/oem used, the uncle explained nicely which was which.

don't know if its still there though.

Z-Nix used to be the best place to go for quality media some years back. Not sure now.

Certain items there cost more than Challenger.
Chamoxa still one of the cheapest, but not all too.

Last checked 2 days ago Chamoxa,
DVD+R Verbatim 50pcs (Made in Japan) $28
Challenger 100pcs (Made in Japan) $38.90

6th floor shop, 50pcs $26.
But their 50pcs (Made in Taiwan) $21. Chamoxa & Challenger selling $17.90

Chamoxa for Portable HDD they sell cheapest in SLS.

I still need CDRs coz car audio system use CDR and its still the best and economical.

I remembered ATF had like 4 outlets @ SLS ... the main one I seldom go coz the people bery root ... one in the middle near the escalator always no sales assistant ( wonder why they neber kanna robbed ) ... I always goto the one that faces the pillar ... gotch one uncle very kind and patient ... explaining to me everything in detailed version ... after listening to his explanation , I dunno which one to buy coz everything he said seems logical ...

End up , always buy the disney/winnie the pooh CDRs ... coz he only say one sentence to this kind of CDs ... he will say "This kind of CDs, girl buy one" ... So these CDRs were the one for me ... coz he din't say if they are bad or good

I had bad experiences with them on my 2 or 3 visits to them over a few years. After that I said I will never go back there. So glad that they are gone too. Make my shopping experience more peaceful.

i once saw their boss (ironically wearing hugo boss that day) screw the workers upside down so badly... that i rather give business to other shops who respect their workers.

business come and go. part n parcel of life. especially in the ever competitive situation of SLS. remember, their rental is as high if not higher than some prime shopping locations.

Boss losing $$$ ma, bad mood. Then vent anger at workers..

I miss the Gravis days. Where more hardware shops are around, level 2 and 3 lots of pirated disc
