Budget? If not Bose companion 3 and 5 seems damn solid. Suitable for wide genre of music although it'd definitely burn a hole in pocket

Can recommend Creative Gigaworks T3. Solid performance especially for R&B, trance and house music lovers.

Not bad for Jazz and Classical too.

Price wise, below the Edifier.
