Thermatake New Arrivals: the GTS is in town..

    vrooom vrooom...

a direct descendant of the infamous Level 10 GT, which a love or hate relationship, Thermaltake now introduces the GTS model. so, what's so special bout the GTS.

    1. The GTS is a mid-tower case
    2. it still carries the signature hdd modules on the GT model
    3. a smaller footprint, which lowers production cost, making it more affordable to everyone.

without further adieu, let's have a look at this GTS model.

the box package as compared to the new Armor Revo. (ok, fret not, we would be doing the Revo shortly)

unboxing it, u would not see the L10 GTS in plastic bag. It'll be in a cloth bag protecting it.

signature TT emblem is not embossed. teeny weeny of lil disappointment here. however, it also means easy mods if u need to, without worrying on where to put the emblem.

    the case

HDD modules. do note that only 4 HDD modules as compared to 5 from the GT model..

the signature e-sports hook for ur gaming headset....

2 internal USB 3.0 headers, 2 USb 2.0 ports, headphone and mic ports adorn the right side of the panel.

juz below the connectors, we have the Power switch, Reset Switch, power LED and HDD Led...

multiple mounting holes on top of panel allows mounting the following. note that a mesh filter is provided too.

    1. 2x120mm fans or AIO WC radiator, such as the Corsair H100.
    2. 200mm fan
    3. 140mm & 120mm fan, one each.

side panel allows fans from 140mm to 200mm, and of cos, side mesh filter is provided.

thumbscrews would not be lost when u remove ur side panels.

spacious interior... now i wonder if an E-ATX can be used in there, tho is not on official list... (we would get back to all once i grab an E-ATX board to try)

2cm to 3cm of space behind mobo tray, depends on where and how u are going to route ur cables... i wld say it's loads of space for u to do ur cable management and yet, fit in the side panel in nicely.

how the 3cm comes about, the pic of the panel on the other side wld say a thousand words.

    200mm fan for front

    120mm fan for rear....
