everytime i start a program, take explorer for example, the taskbar shows that its supposed to be displayed on top.

however, nothing appears. only after clicking the taskbar icon a few times to minimise and maximise it will it appear.

WTF!!!????

sometimes, when i selct a program for the taskbar, it will blink 3 times and not appear.

and the fcing windows key only works if i have just pressed something in the taskbar.....

like when i'm typing this and i press the win key, nothing happens

and i can't right click (on the task bar) for m$ programs.

Sounds like an adware problem, or maybe viral.

Or maybe, it's time for a reformat. :victory:

you can do a windows system recovery/restore if you want to.

i have 3 ad ware scanners, scans everyday.

using norton AV 2004

occasionally use avast to scan too
