installed it and found out loads of people were monitering what i was doing

institute of biotechnology
china education and research

and many more

does this mean they know what we are doing on our computers

They just know you are online..
I think, but I don; think they block singapore's rias

so they dont know what you are doing

Actually it's suppose to reject traffic so they dunno if you're online or not, something like a firewall blocking specific targets.

It's just to stop them from connecting to your computer..
It's more for people who are using P2P software as certain organisations like Sony Ent. etc. will attempt to track people who share files by pretending to be leechers..
PG2 uses updated lists of the IP addresses and stops them from connecting so that they will not be able to track you.
