It strange why i cant update my windows. I bought the copy from vr-zone office that time. But i dunno why cannot update at the windowsupdate site.
I'm using windows pro. Anyone encounter this prob? How to fix ar?

if MS show you that own a volume license which is also not available for update features...volume license mean low licensing-costs go by range of employers using Windows OS that only some office/IT administrator does the updates

better dun register if yours is not an original copy. go check up microsoft website to determine if yours is an original.

1 year ago, I bought a copy from a guy who said he got it from somebody else. When examined closely, the OEM copy is of inferior quality actually. Have to look real close because they look like original but some tell tale signs like half-fugged holograms, slightly blurry edges of the printed booklet.

Was using and updating fine until 1 month ago, tried to update and failed. I signed up online for MS Genuine Advatage programme which they sold me a copy of WinXP OEM for $260 and DHLed it to me 3 days later.

High quality fakes actually infiltrated both HWZ and VRZ more than a year ago. Get yours checked and if you can trace the seller, MS actually will replace the copy for you free (if got receipt to show) as they want to haul in all the pirates. I didn't so I lan lan gotta buy one.

Mine oso same as yours. I can only update after the registgry tweak like those ahem clans. I gotta use True Image to get the the HDD cloned so that I dun need to go thru the same hell in my next format.
