Windows Home Server or Windows 7 Pro SengZai Oct 22nd, 09, 04:44 PM #1 (permalink)
Hi guys...having a dilemma here...I have an atom itx pc using as a server for file sharing, downloading bt p2p ftp 24/7....currently im using windows 7 RC build...I am considering replacing it with either Windows Home Server S$299 or Windows 7 Pro S$255. I need my OS to be able to support Remote Desktop Connection because it will be a headless server (without Monitor). Any suggestions?? What are the benefits Windows Home Server have over Windows 7? and are they worth the S$44 more? Thank you!!

W7 is ok since you just p2p unless you need server to handle heavy workload or advanced network setup else just save the money.

You seen those companies use server for demanding task.
