The site actually contain a software for download that claims to check who on MSN, AOL or Yahoo messenger is blocking you? But during installation, my Antivirus detected the program as a trojan.

And apparently this trojan contains a keylogger to steal login ids and passwords.

The name of the trojan is Win32.Starter.e

Not too sure about this one but just to say, there are proggys which are clean but show up as a virus due to the way they work...false alarms, rootkits are one such example, their inital purpose was to hide a virus but now they can also be used for other things such as hacking, this is a negative aspect of the usage but yes it is a use for rootkits now which is not harmful to your computer but shows as a virus..there are also automaters which show up as a virus due to the way they work...

For this specific one I am unsure as I have yet to look into it myself..just saying that it might be clean..

when u kena, once you sign in to msn you will auto send a message to many of ur contacts:
"I can check who's blocking me on MSN messenger because i use http://etcetcetc..."

I got some friends who mentioned this thing before, and they think they're very smart because now they can find out who blocked them or deleted them from their contact list. I warned them before about spyware/trojan but they don't believe me, so I don't care liao loh. Let them tio trojan, none of my business. :laugh3:

Anyway, for those who dunno, there's an easy way to find out who deleted you from their contact list, without having to download this piece of crap. Options -> Privacy -> who had me on their list (or something like that). Dunno why some people want to download nonsense...

yup, know that before last time, but dunno is it working correctly or not and the site claim that no spyware etc.. So is the site removal tool trustable, pls share wat is the best way to remove the thingy completly
