msn mp3 blocker? alienchu Mar 3rd, 06, 11:48 PM #1 (permalink)
hi guys..

I am using msn messenger 7.5 and have windows xp service pack 2 installed.

When i open mp3s thru msn, this pop up tells me that xp has blocked the file due to security reasons..

What i wanna know is, where did the file go to? Is it deleted? Or is it hidden somewhere?

This has happened quite a few times.. accidentally.. and is very irritating when it happens.

Thanks.

It is normally in My Documents> My received files unless u changed the settings. By default it is there and try not to open in MSN but u go to the folder and open as i think it is due to your firewall or antivirus settings

ran a search, the mp3's not anywhere to be found.. why not you bros give it a try too? Get your friend to send you an mp3 then click on the link that appears in your msn window when the transfer is done..
the phenomenon only seems to happen on systems with SP2 installed.
thanks lots for the answers and advice...
