Volume Icon Missing Hage Mar 18th, 06, 12:01 AM #1 (permalink)
Okay, damn, I don't know what happened. I started a game and Alt+Tabbed back to my media player to change song and suddenly there wasn't any sound and I realised the Volume icon in my taskbar was missing. I tried to set it back to "Always Show" but it still doesn't appear. Any idea what's the problem?:shoot4:

EDIT: Okay, there's sound now, but the icon is still missing...

if you don mind to place a volume applet in quick launch taskbar? it could due to system or driver or application bug...

Start> Programs> Accersories> Entertainment> Volume Control

I got that problem last time also. Or is it that u hide the icon on the taskbar? Mine is hidden as i hardly use it. I only put my antivirus and safely remove hardware always on. THe rest i hide when inactive
