Hello all!

YOU are invited to our Dance Competition titled “Stop Hurting, Start Dancing!”

[This dance competition is in conjunction with our main event S.T.O.P: Stop The Ouch, Please! S.T.O.P is organized to increase the awareness of women under domestic and dating violence to youths and to raise funds for these victims. All the revenues generated from the event will be given as charitable funding to the organisation PAVe (Centre for Providing Alternatives to Violence) to support their noble cause. This fund raiser will be in a form of party night on the 13th Nov in a local distinguish club.]

We will be selecting dance teams through only one round of audition! Dancers who make it into the Finals will be granted FREE entry into our local prestigious club on our party night!!

Audition details are as follows:
Title of Competition: "Stop Hurting, Start Dancing"
Theme of Competition: “Violence Against Women”.
Audition Venue: Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Audition Date: 31st October 2009
Audition Time: 10am to 3pm
Audition Fees: FREE
Closing date of registration: 17th October.
Audition dance item: 2-5 mins choreography according to our theme. [Genre not restricted]

**Please take note that this is an open category dance competition. Participants of each team can be from different schools or external individuals so long as you meet our participant criteria. Participants must also be 18 years old and above.

Party Night/Finals of Dance Competition:

Venue: A local distinguished club (have yet to be further confirmed)

Date: 13th November 2009 (Friday)

Time: 7pm to 10pm

Highlights of the Party: Dance Competition, Montage, Fashion Runway, Magic Show and exciting games and lucky draws.
