Hi guys, new in forex here...currently as we speaking I am selling Gold anyone have any thoughts on gold ? will it continue to fall?

Gold? Forex? I think you are confused between the two......

forex are currency pairs (more towards currency exchange)....

hmm sorry i am not confused here....how can i be confuse when i am trading lolz....maybe i put it in the wrong way... i not sure about other trading platform but mine comes with commodities as well so i can trade on both =)

assuming your trading platform allow you to trade both forex and commodities....

your topic is on forex.......so why are you asking about gold in a forex topic when that has nothing to do with forex?

Like I said earlier on, i might have put it in a wrong way which led a misunderstanding to you. So if this will make you happy then.... I am very sorry that i made a mistake about this thread topic and i thought that platform are all the same and some forex players might be trading in commodities at the same time.Its not a forex topic, its calling in forex players and i did'nt know forex players only touches forex and never on commodities.
Now if you wish to continue correct me, I can only say that....I cannot change the thread topic so I can't do anything that can make you feel better that this thread topic is misleading. Now if that still don't satisfy you then tell me, we work something out =)

Anyway,

GBP/JPY is at 123.9 currently....think it would move between 120 to 128 for the time....

Would probably set buy at 120 or slightly below 120.....alternatively, short sell now and set limit to 120 or 121....

hmm, by the way which broker are you using any reviews on it ? I am with avafx it seems to be not bad and the staff are very helpful...how about yours?

not sure if there's any reviews on it.....I'm using FXCM.....the trading platform isn't too bad....

with which country? usa? i prefer uk fxcm as all accounts are segregrated.

anyone try before with this broker call IG markets? they have an office in singapore too..

I am a futures player. eMini S&P and Russell2k. Methods employed, Tunnel for 5 min, 60 min. Crossovers with time and price prediction for 1 min projections.

Platform used NinjaTrader.

To open an account with us, you must declare combined annual
income and savings of at least S$100,000....

^mandatory for filling up the form...


I dun trust SG brokers and even if I do, they charge very high minimum...

DBS do spot forex and gold......but minimum amount is SGD10,000

For me, I rather play with a smaller minimum...

Hi, I have some questions to ask about forex:

1) If I’m opening an account with SGD as base currency, will I still be able to open a position for GBPUSD?

2) If so, profits and losses will be based on which currency? SGD or USD? Is there automatic conversion back to SGD?

it depends on the broker....if the broker does deal with GBP/USD, your SGD will be converted to buy the pair...

and profit and loss can be based on SGD or USD....but like I said, it depends on the broker you are using.....

If you are trading on your own, using their platform, you have to use USD or other currency, depending on the country and their requirements...
