Amex Card VS Visa/Master MysticalX Feb 15th, 09, 12:38 PM #1 (permalink)
Hi guys,

I just asking is it true that Amex card charges 3% to the retailer when i charge my payments using amex? If yes then does the shops out there widely accept Amex card? or payment via Amex is not really accepted except branded boutiques.

Thanks.

Amex charges higher than than Visa/Master, but I've forgotten just how much the percentage is.

Anyway, Amex isn't widely accepted. You'll still find some small shops accepting it, but that's few and far between...
So, you want a piece of me? Take THAT!!!

Actually it depends on what you're looking for.

For bling bling, AMEX. For usability, a Visa is probably more widely accepted.
