Hi guys i'm just wondering is there any where i can get a loan of SGD5k to 6k in singapore beside local bank? I'm taking this loan for a new bicycle. RBS bank offer a 8.8% 36 months but i was hoping to get a better deal elsewhere. Those ads i read in NewPaper are they reliable and how does they work? are they loan shark? any bro here can recommend me if they ever use their service. Local only i don't believe in ads from India or some east Europe country they sound like conmen having to deposit upfront to secure a loan tats insane.

RBS no need garantor if you meet their requirement of at least 30K a year income. the one im looking at is Money Line they r selling. GE money need garantor and Financial assessment report from MAS if you are earning more then SGD$30K a year or if you are a credit card holder.

They way i look at it is GE money are catering their service to the low income group. Maybe i was wrong pls correct me if i'm.

Now if u earn 30k/year it doesn't guarantee that u will get the loan.
It's not like last time. Last time, 30k u will get most of the unsecure loan.. unless u have very bad record.

Now, they really screen u. If u have 1 loan rolling and ur CC have outstanding, chances to get rejected very very high

I agree. I had a rolling loan from a bank here left about 2 yrs. the thing is if i wan to settle in one go i have to pay the penalty. I try to re-loan from the same bank they rejected me maybe because i have a loan already rolling from them or maybe they are not interested in a short term less figure loan. the thing is i find that bank are more willing to loan high figure if u meet their requirement.

I mean what for do i loan more then 10K if i just need only 5k

I tot got backdoor kind ... Pay 1k then get 1 card ... withdraw 7k from the card and get 7 cards ... then slowly pay back the bank for the 7k but on hand you have 8 cards ... this type then call 98% lobang lah ...

Loan 10k, then see if can get it approved.
Then 5k, go buy stocks or something. Park there for 1/2 year. Most cases u will roll in profits. Then sell of the stock, cover back, and chances is that interest are offset.

Basically there's risk involved. So just take it as a reference. Cheers..
