I got a common stock share certificate of Agilent Technologies (which I thought when missing for years).
It's a transferable certificate in my name, but issued in US (I think) - one of those many employees got when Agilent split from HP in year 2000. How do I sell it for cash now?
I read on CDP website I need to first deposit it by bringing it and a "Certificate of Stamp Duty". But then it seems this procedure is for stocks listed in SGX and private company only?
Anyone can advise?
Also, is the value calculated on the date on the certificate? (June 2, 2000) or the market value once I deposit it?
Thanks!!!
