Hi,

I'm thinking of going into US stock trading. Which online broker would offer the lowest commissions with reasonable ease of trade? I'm still an undergrad with limited capital, and I will probably do buy and hold rather than doing buy-and-sell every other day.

I use Citibank but if I am not mistaken, there's a fee involved for holding US stocks. You can check their website for more information. The platform is pretty easy to use and fast too.

Hmm for US stocks, I've been using thinkorswim platform, you can go download their demo software and see if you're comfortable with it. Optionsxpress was another good platform, until they started changing their charting software and became painfully slow to trade on.
