The initial estimate for the time is very long. And it will take longer if you are running other programs. Leave the computer alone at night to run then wake up in the morning to check the remaining time. Shouldn't take that long unless you got a really slow PC.
There is a tick box that allows you to download WU that are more than 5 meg, don't click that if you don't want big WU.

omg, basket, i'm waiting for "large wu core startup" and the number is running @ 975. sianz... this is madness lar... a 20+ hr tasks when i loaded it had the counter @ around 200-350 only... 975 :shock1:

if you don't stare at the folding screen very often i suggest u d/l the "no-nonsense text-only console"
according to SPCR the graphical client uses quite a bit of system resources to display the animation

hey i just started folding on 3 rigs at the same time... all using VRZ.Hurricane and team number 48269 (team VR)

then i noticed that two of the rigs were folding exactly the same thing (p2305_BBA5_Mutant), GROMACS core...
so i'm wondering, why fold 2 of the same at the same time?

Cos you are only folding part of it, not the whole thing. That is the purpose of distributed computing.

Each frame is only a nano-second of folding.
