Haha! good teamwork there. 2 person pounch on the survivors and 1 smoker drag 1... the stranger boomer dunno wat going on also, he in his own world.

Hey guys,

I propose some strategies for the group in Versus games:
Survivors:
Move fast and move together as a group. We should never stand around or, worse, back-track. The normal random zombies are really not a threat at all, neither is a lone hunter, smoker or even a pair of them when we stick together as a group.

Avoid running back to kill a smoker/hunter/boomer that you spotted! They will respawn again anyhow, and by going back you force the team to lose precious time.

The more we wait around, the more chances the infected has to respawn and set up an ambush.

Save at least one molotov for the tank, and save the pipebomb for when we need it. Because we'll be moving fast, we won't have a lot of them like in campaign games. Molotov is awesome for killing the tank, just set him on fire and run around for 30 seconds, he'll die all by himself.

Remember that you can shoot through walls and doors! If you hear the boomer sounds close by, it's very likely he's waiting for an ambush around the corner or waiting on a level above. Dump a feel shots at the direction of the sound, you might get him!

Oh, and last but not least, when we all made it into the safe house, heal up before closing that door! Those without health-pack should stand guard at the door; while the ones with health-pack health the most injured members. This can really rack the score


Opinions for the infected team to be followed This is my own general guide for playing. What do you guys think? Is it compatible with your play-style?

yup, it good there. i love being a boomer. camp on roof. one they come out of building. jump down. u either vomit or they explode and kill u.

Key point is stay together.. and understand closet technique.. backing into a corner is alway the best.. no rambo action.. Like yester got quite a good game... on expert.. we back into a corner.. 2 shotty squart 2 m16 standin behind.. even better if backin near a ammo point.. then power.. everyone pistol.. when zombie flood.. shooty them.. m16 pick up when shotty reload..

I think versus game and expert campaign games are very different.

In expert campaign game, you need to be VERY cautious since even the normal zombie does massive damage.
In versus game, if you're TOO cautious and give the infected team too many respawns, you'll more likely end up dead!

i think it is good not all team members reload at the same time...

2 members reload and other 2 standby

When pike bomb being used...team members should refrain from shooting to reserve the bullet...coz the zombie will go after the bomb and eventually kaboom.....

I find it most difficult part is to stick together coz coordination is not easy and most of the time I can;t understand what other player say over the mic...maybe my headphone is lousy, always got distraction to the sound

worst is other members did not speak in English. Maybe they speak in germany or whatever lingo that I dun understand...then i gg liao

one more thing....friendly fire will also cause damage to yr team members...especially when u r down and yr team members trying to rescue you and u at the same time trying to shoot the zombies that are all over the place....what a mess...LOL

When i just got the game, me too also start sprayin when a smoker or hunter got my team mate, but then discover that my shot gun may do more damage then the zombie.. So now i just go over an melee. Anyway just melee the player will free him from smoker trap, and melee a tank will tag u.
