Based on my experience with TF2,yes your achievements would be still there as it's sort of like saved by Steam to your account instead of your computer.

I am struck at 4% too. wat the f is going on? I cannot connect to steam for days now so decided to reinstall steam only to be struck at 4% meaning in game for days... pui!!! steam better fix this soon.

Ha ha. Don't delete the .bolg thingy. Will cause the stupid Steam to update damn long.

Yes, will be gone. I tried it myself. I deleted the .bolg thingy and steam update screwed damn long. Then I just reformatted my PC and then all achievements gone

The achievement will be back when u login yr user.. wht i did was delete e whole steam if deleting the .blog dont work. Restart com and reset router.. BTW i use the installer from steam now L4d.. then lucky now it works.. but.. project coming no time to play sian

L4D is pretty boring without mic + headphone...

The new balance tweaks they've made have been positive. Tank now takes a lot more time to burn to death. Smoker starts doing damage much faster than before. People seem to abandon the cheat shortcuts so I guess they're patched as well.

Now if I just manage to get my mic + headphone up once more...

I already formated my HDD dun know how many times liao...but after installing the game and log into steam acct, all my achievement still there

I'm pretty sure that Steam achievements are linked to your account as well... 100% sure with TF2. Left 4 Dead I haven't checked for a long time, but I've earned all the "easy" achievements already. Haven't gotten a new one for months now after several reinstalls on different machines.

I want to ask is the VR Group for L4D is called VR Zoners.

The group seems to have 3 other members

Also I kind of wish they add more weapons or weapon mods that are linked to your achievement.

Like the Akiboma Assassin achievement gets you a smaller ammo clips, but more accuracy or even scoped pistols .

Getting all the Burn achievements lets you get a flamethrower, etc.
